This is the name she uses on the call — she introduces herself as your assistant, never as a person.

Indian languages change the verb depending on who is speaking and who is listening — this is what makes the first sentence sound right.

We will text a code to both phones. Meenira only calls someone who has read a message on their own handset and passed the code back — so nobody can be rung by a stranger typing their number into this page.

Ask them to read it out — that is how we know they are happy to be called.

Nothing arrived? We will send the same code again — or read it out over the phone, which reaches Indian numbers more reliably than a message does.
